iabsolutelyLOVEjazzdance! so much in fact, i want my next blog entry to say "iabsolutelyLOVEjazzdancing!" hehe though i'm not a big fan of jazz music, the very dance... the form... the flexibility, the expression, the mobility and flow is what fascinates me. it has a sophistication in its vigor. (that sounded so good, dinnit?) i really don't know how i developed an interest for it, but it must be the 'dance genes' in me that must be spurring to life O.o you get the picture. with a few classes offered at our new Rec Center on campus, who knows... i might be the next jazz star hitting all shows in noo york. lol or maybe not. its just one of those personal passions that few ppl know abt, but the entire blogosphere just happens to figure out somehow.
hmm, i think the proper word to describe the dance would be energy. its filled with energy. with life. its even more fun if you do it together in groups (and most likely end up laughing at yerself). plus, the attitude is what counts in this dance form. so, you got some of dat?

pretty pictures............and a prettier blog!i loved the way u described the whole thing. I'm one of those "two-left-feet" ,always aspiring to somehow break out of the affliction.maybe i shud give it a serious try sometime.
And on a slant, have u watched the scent of a woman, the movie? Remember the tango by Alpacino and a cameo female artist: it's awesome!
I WANNA LEARN BALL DANCING!!!!
fook
thats just one of those things Ive got planned for the trip to big apple, if that happens.

...actually, Salsa too...
i looove that movie Moi :P hm... maybe that's how i started liking the tango haha. and there was this other movie where there's this BIG competition going on and this latino (?) guy and someone girl dance. (i crack up at that one line, where the guy says, "your hair's puffy") but my interest grew out of figure/ice skating. weird connection, but true. i never learnt how to skate very well... so this was probably my next best option; and it definitely is a great art/hobby/talent for kicks.
and thanks for the comment on my blog :) its all google pics heh.
wow, ball dancing eh, Dreamer? lucky her :P AND salsa too?! damn, she just got luckier lol
its amazing how a few guys actually like dancing and don't stutter a "i can't dance" and sit in the corner, chugging beers, watching others get the groove on. salsa's amazing :) trust me, its way more than enjoyable and getting a lil' rhythm in yourself. i can't think of a word to describe that feeling when you take a break from all the dancing. all i know is that you can't stop smiling! i did it w/ a couple of friends and i'll tell ya... we had no idea what we were s'posed to do or how we were s'posed to hold each other, but t'was nice to walk away thinking, "oh YEAH baby, i know how ta salsa NOW!" of course, i would never dance with a person who actually knew the correct way to do it ;)
thanks for stoppin' by and jazz up your weekend!
yes we can do it together incase I land up in Ohio, cuz, as u might guess, being less than a beginner, i wldnt like to get it on with sum1 who knew how to do it either :S
